⚠️ Planned maintenance ⚠️

Hey!

This site will be down between 15th of December and roughly 15th of January.

This is due the fact that I am leaving Redgate and switching to a new job - Gearset.

Wait, so why is downtime needed?

Well... This site is running in my Visual Studio Enterprise subscription, using the 125$ free credits I am given every month. Normally the actual changeover shouldn't last more than a couple of hours, because I have terraform in place for my infrastructure, and am taking regular backups of my Postgresql database, however during that big 1 month period I am also taking a 3 week trip to Lithuania (driving 1.2k miles to, and same amount back across Europe).

During that time I won't really have access to PC, and I want to spend that time with my family, not caring about my work or blog. I want to fully recover, let the garbage collector in my brain do it's job so that I could come back recovered, relaxed and ready to hit the ground!

In case I won't write any more blog posts this year, see you in 2024 all!
